When is the best time to propagate succulents?

Spring? Summer? I've always been one to leave plants alone, but this time I'm not sure if that's the right thing to do. Until now I hadn't had to do anything like this and that's why I have so many doubts.

The best time is spring-summer, when the plant is actively growing. I was also scared at first, but taking it slowly worked out. In my experience, watching it for a few days clears up many doubts.
